Took a kabbalah class. One good thing I got from it: "if you stick your finger into an electric socket and get shocked it's not because the socket is angry or is punishing you -- it's just a force." Which is refreshing considering since I was three I was told practically every bad thing that happened to me was punishment because I wasn't a good girl.
