THE TOWER

Did a reading for myself last night -- the card I drew for the present was the Tower. G says it's not as much about buildings as illusions being shattered, sometimes in a good way. It can also stand for change, surprises, upheavals.

What was supposed to be a "wintery mix" this morning turned out to be a couple inches of snow. At one point it was coming down so thick you couldn't see the White House. By evening it had mostly turned to slush but by then I had decided not to go to church. Or the Oscar party in Arlington. Actually those yellow things falling down DO look kinda like snowflakes.
