THE INTERNSHIP

In order to graduate we are required to do an unpaid internship. I figure if I don't get paid I want to intern somewhere that looks good on a resume, is fun or leads to lucrative employment. Or at least someplace where I wouldn't mind using their hot tub.

My first choice is a local teaching hospital. The head of volunteer services says we need at least one recommendation saying why we would make good volunteers. I asked the head of the coronary care unit and said it was ok even if he said something like "she keeps her appointments, she speaks English and she hasn't exhibited any psychotic behaviour."
