TRAGEDY IN OUR SCHOOL

Officials have charged the boyfriend of one of our students with the malicious wounding of her three-year-old daughter. The child has nine life-threatening injuries including a torn pancreas and swelling of the brain, which the police say "none of which could be self-inflicted." I was in Delaware when the story broke.

We are taking up a collection for the mother, who evidently does not have insurance.
