1) No one owns September 11th.

2)No one has a monopoly on suffering

3) We have all been affected by, or know someone who was, affected by September 11th in someway. No September 11th one-upmanship. Stop it.

4) We all have our ways of reacting to/dealing with September 11th/Hurricane Irene/The earthquake. No need to get sanctimonious over how others are over/underreacting to any of these events.
