WEEK EIGHT

Dow ended down but peaked at a little over 13 thousand. Weather went from chilly to gorgeous to thunderstorms to bitterly cold with winds supposedly up to 60 mph. A couple hours ago it was 40 degrees but felt like 20. I paid $3.62/gallon for gas at a Sunoco station on Rockville Pike but it was less than $3.60/gallon at the Free State station nearby. Had a relapse of what I had earlier but am feeling better today -- tree pollen count was also supposed to be high.

WHITNEY HOUSTON

They buried her today. Her funeral was yesterday. She died on the eleventh. That same day we welcomed our newest family member, Aiden David Slater. Ironically was seven years ago on that day that my darling Lightning died. And six months ago on the seventeenth, also my father's birthday, that "Baby" Pandora died. That was three days after my birthday.

WEEK SEVEN

Dow closed up, almost at 13 thousand. Gas was $3.88/gallon at the Connecticut Ave BP station. Weather started out bitterly cold, then warmed up, cooling off again. Hot tubbing and schvitzing every day and stocking up on oils and supplements.

My late father would have been 88 years old today. His twin sister, my Aunt Margie, IS 88 years old.

There was a fire in Camp Hill yesterday. Fortunately no people or pigs were hurt, but it still scares me.
