I FEEL AS THOUGH I'VE GIVEN BIRTH

Spent a good part of the night working the bugs out of Facebook and Twitter, but am REALLY pleased with my newer (newest?) Twitter page.

WEEK 17

In a nutshell, weather improving, actually earned more money than I have in weeks. One person diagnosed with cancer, another going for a biopsy.

It’s surprising how many people actually pay attention to what I write, even people I didn’t think would. I have over a thousand followers on my main Twitter page, have started a second and am hoping to start a third for my CDA Court. I feel bad about not doing anything for them, and this is something that would cost little time and no money. And even if it helps the parish, other courts or CDA in general without helping us, that would be cool.

I am feeling a little better physically, although my hours have been cut in about half. Saw the cardiologist, nothing new there. Glad Lent’s over and at least the pigs are doing well. Let’s hope when G-d closes a door he opens a window.

WEEK 15

"Lord, make my words sweet and tender, for one day I may have to eat them." Yeah, stifling the snotty remark doesn't hurt. Especially if you don't know the whole story.

My big pig's foot seems to be improving. It could be a lesson to me -- the need for vigilance, rest, TLC and proper nutrition.

I am getting a refund on my income taxes and will have to buy a new computer. The money spent should make up for the inconvenience of the last several years. It's amazing how technology makes our life so much better when it works and makes it a living hell when it doesn't.

Lent will be over very soon, even though I won't be able to drink until Sunday afternoon. I managed to do the no meat on Fridays and the no booze for over 40 days thing. And to say the Jabez Prayer for part of Lent. As for personal growth, not sure how much of that I accomplished, other than it was horrible what they did to Jesus and we shouldn't do the same to our fellow creatures.

The Dow closed over eight thousand and the lovefest continues for the Obamas in Europe. I got on the stick and applied to three potential employers. My big pig is pretty much OK – Ultra Carefresh, fake sheepskin bed and Meloxicam. Dr. C says the main thing now is to get the weight off the foot. She sleeps a lot – maybe there is a lesson to be learned there.
